SPONSORED PHOTOS: Birthday celebrations shouldn’t be ‘Vanity Fairs’, says Peter Amune

Peter Amune, a Communications staff of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) added a year recently. In an event to mark the day, he said that birthday celebrations should be moments  for stocktaking about life, not times for thoughtless show of personal accomplishments.

“Birthday celebration is not a Vanity Fair, but a moment to count your days that you may gain a heart of wisdom. The Bible says in Psalms 90:12, ‘Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom’. To me, that is the reason I mark my birthdays. It is not a vanity fair. No. Not at all”. PHOTOS:
