Touching as Davido Mourns Mother

 

Memories of the life and time of late Mrs. Veronica Adeleke, mother of a popular Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, poured in again today as Davido twitted an emotional comment about her.

Davido had performed at the Benin Kingdom as Oba Ewuare II celebrated his first year anniversary of his coronation today.

The DMN Boss, in a picture he took with the Oba and kinsmen and shared on his twitter handle @Iam_Davido, regretted that his mother was not alive to see the picture.

Perhaps, Davido was referring to the much progress he has been able to make which his mother is not alive to witness.

“Mama woulda loved this one! Was a honor celebrating with the King of the Benin Kingdom on his anniversary OBA EWUARE II ?!”

The singer in a video he shared on Snapchat, said the below picture is one picture he wishes his mom would have loved to see, as he shared the photo he took besides the Monarch via Snapchat.

‘This is one picturDavido’se that I wish my mum was alive to see, she would have loved to see it’ the singer said.

Davido’s followers on twitter and snapchat took to their handles to console the singer and react with loads of emotional comments.

Davido is just smarting out from controversy over the death of three of his close friends. He was arrested and questioned and later released.

Late Mrs. Veronica Adeleke, a former Lecturer at Babcock University died in 2003 after a brief illness.
