Nigerian University, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife has sacked the teacher, Professor Richard Akindele, whose video went viral after a student alleged that he demanded sex before awarding her pass marks and posted a video evidence on the social media.
Vice Chancellor of the school, Eyitope Ogunbodede on Wednesday announced the sack of the lecturer at a press conference in Ife after OAU Governing Council found the Prof. guilty of all the charges against him.
He was a Professor in the Department of Accounting and allegedly demanded sex from Monica Osagie to upgrade her marks.
