Vulture feeds with N30, 000 (Minimum Wage Equivalent) in 6 days–Police
Police in Adamawa State, North-East Nigeria has said they used N30, 000 to feed a vulture detained in police station for 6 days.
Nigerian workers are expecting implementation of a thirty thousand naira (N30, 000) Minimum Wage after a long ‘duel’ with the government.
DSP Othman Abubakar, the police spokesman in the Maiha local government area in the state said that more expenses will be incurred while the bird remains in detention
The vulture which belonged to a woman arrested by men of the force after residents in the area complained that the animal’s presence was fearful to them, Daily Trust reports.
DSP Othman Abubakar, the police spokesman in Maiha, said that while the command will carry investigation into the bird, more cost will be incurred to feed it.
Speaking on the development, Adamu Audu Madaki, the police commissioner in the state, reassured residents in the area that the command will get to the root of the issue.
Madaki said: “So, we want to ascertain what the vulture is meant for.” A lot of persons also insinuate that the vulture was a woman who turned to a bird.
